Thanks!
Glad you liked the report Sunshine. I don't remeber the rocks being to big of an issue along most of the trail, but there were some portions that you might encounter the grapefruit variety you are referring to. The trail is fairly well worn and marked. I hope ya'll have a great time out there. Bring back some great stories and pics! |

Very informative!
My husband and I are hoping to do this next mo. We're hardy dayhikers in our 60's. Think we'll go to the right at the split as far as our legs will let us. We took the Ore Terminal in December and did the whole thing in 5 l/4 hours, but the grapefruit-size rocks about did us in. Assume there'll be lots of them on this hike, too. Whatever--I hope to go far enough to get some really good views of the Sierra del Carmen and the river. Loved your report. Thanks! Sunshine, a new member |

Homemade Salsa?
Muse, we would be more than happy to try some of your homemade salsa. :-)
How about bringing some to the THF Gear Get Together. |

"In true thehikersforum.com style we had chips and salsa."
It seems I will fit right in here......you MUST try my homemade salsa! I'm thinking of starting to can it in a few weeks because I'm running out of lil plastic containers to give it away in! :) |
